Michigan is breaking out all the stops for its February 24 rivalry game against Michigan State.

On Wednesday, Michigan announced that it will wear throwback uniforms for the in-state clash later this month. The Wolverines will sporting the maize uniforms worn during the team’s 1989 national championship season.

Pictures were posted of the look on Michigan’s Twitter page:

Michigan and Michigan State have yet to meet on the hardwood and still have two regular season matchups ahead. Both those games will be critically important in the B1G title race, as both sit atop the conference standings.

The Feb. 24 clash is scheduled for 3:45 p.m. and will air on CBS. The two teams will meet a few weeks later on March 9 in East Lansing.

Michigan and Michigan State are both currently 11-3 in conference play.
