Schoonmaker had to step up after Erick All Jr. missed the season with an undisclosed injury. Schoonmaker finished the season with 418 yards receiving and 3 touchdowns after playing in 12 games this year.
Things did not end well for Michigan unfortunately. The Wolverines lost to TCU 51-45 in the Fiesta Bowl.
