Michigan softball is in the NCAA Tournament and started things off with a bang on Friday!

Starting the game at pitcher for the Wolverines was Meghan Beaubien who was coming off a dominant performance earlier in the week. Beaubien threw a perfect game against Rutgers on May 15. She followed that up with another incredible performance against Seattle.

Taking on Seattle, Beaubien started strong and never looked back. She issued just one walk to go along with an impressive 12 strikeouts without allowing a hit, giving her back-to-back no-hitters in less than a week.

Here are the highlights from Beaubien’s outing:

According to the BTN Stats Guys, Beaubien is just the second Michigan pitcher in the past 34 years to throw two no-hitters during a seven-day span. It was the seventh no-hitter of her career.

With the win, Michigan moves on to face Washington on Saturday in Seattle. That game will start at 3 pm PT.
