Michigan football added a commitment from 4-star Edge Devon Baxter Monday evening, giving the Wolverines their 22nd commitment of the 2024 class. In addition, Baxter represents Michigan’s first edge rusher commitment of the cycle.

Standing at 6-6, 265 pounds, Baxter hails from Gwynn Park HS in Brandywine, Maryland, about 10 miles outside of Washington D.C.

Baxter chose the Wolverines over offers from Virginia Tech, Maryland, Tennessee and Penn State, to name a few.

Baxter is considered to be the No. 505 player in the country, as well as the No. 32 edge and No. 13 player out of Maryland.

He committed to Michigan following an official visit to Ann Arbor this past weekend.
