Michigan is still blazing the recruiting trail despite the ongoing sign-stealing investigation.

On Tuesday, the Wolverines added Class of 2025 quarterback Carter Smith from Fort Myers, Florida.

Smith is a 4-star prospect according to 247Sports composite. He is considered to be the No. 231 player nationally, the No. 15 quarterback in the nation and the No. 33 player in the state of Florida for the Class of 2025.

Smith held offers from Boston College, Cincinnati, Florida and others, but ultimately landed on Michigan.

Smith is just the third commit that Michigan has landed for the Class of 2025. The Wolverines have the No. 19 recruiting class in the nation for the Class of 2025 according to 247Sports composite, but Michigan is sure to pick up some more big recruits over the next few months.

Michigan is coming off a big win over Penn State on Saturday, which it pulled off without head coach Jim Harbaugh, who is serving a 3-game suspension. The Wolverines will take on Maryland this week before closing out the season against Ohio State.
