Michigan adds commitment from 5-star DB, top in-state prospect for class of 2022
It is turning into a beautiful Sunday for Jim Harbaugh and his staff!
The afternoon started with the announcement that former Texas Tech QB Alan Bowman is joining the Wolverines. He threw for more than 5,000 yards with the Red Raiders and will be a big addition to the offseason quarterback battle in Ann Arbor.
Shortly after Bowman’s announcement, Will Johnson put out a video and graphic on his personal Twitter page, announcing his commitment to Harbaugh and the Wolverines. Check it out:

Johnson is the son of former Michigan DB Deon Johnson who played for the Wolverines in the early 1990s. He is a five-star recruit and is rated as the No. 11 overall prospect and top-ranked prospect out of Michigan for 2022 by the 247 Sports Composite Rankings.
Johnson committed to the Wolverines over Ohio State and USC, making his decision a bit sweeter for Harbaugh and company. It is also another strong addition to what has been a roaring start for DB coach and co-DC Maurice Linguist on the recruiting trail. Hopefully it is a sign of great things to come in Ann Arbor.
