Special teams is getting a boost in Ann Arbor.
On Tuesday, Michigan received a commitment from Cole Hossung, a kicker in the 2020 recruiting class. He tweeted out his commitment to the program via a post on Twitter.
“I love the game of football and to be able to spend the next four years playing the sport I love is more than I could ever ask for,” Hossung wrote on Twitter. “So finally, I am happy to announce I will be continuing my academic and football careers at the University of Michigan!!!”

Hossung was looking at Alabama, Louisville, Michigan and Tennessee, according to 247Sports. The native of Floyds Knobs, Indiana does not have any rankings on the recruiting website.
Michigan currently owns the B1G’s second-best recruiting class and ranks No. 10 overall.
