Michigan is getting a head start on the 2022 recruiting class. On Monday, the Wolverines added their second verbal pledge of the cycle.

Belleville, Michigan native Myles Rowser announced his commitment to Michigan via his Twitter account. He became the second player of the 2022 cycle to commit, joining another in-state athlete Alex Van Sumeren, who committed last month.

“Thank you to all of the coaches and colleges that have offered me scholarships to play,” Rowser wrote. “I have committed to and will be attending The University of Michigan.”

Because it is so early in his recruitment, Rowser does not currently have any rankings on 247Sports. The 5-foot-11, 175-pound safety has received plenty of interest already, however.

Rowser has already received 17 offers, including several B1G offers. In addition to Michigan, Rowser received offers from Nebraska, Maryland, Minnesota and Penn State.

Florida, Florida State, Iowa State, Kentucky and Tennessee also showed interest in the Michigan product.
