Michigan adds special pre-game flyover plans to list of highlights for 'Maize Out' vs. Penn State
Michigan is taking on Penn State Saturday. The Wolverines have some special things planned for its Big Noon Kickoff matchup with the Nittany Lions, according to 247Sports’ Alejandro Zuniga.
The 1997 national championship team is one that Michigan fans will remember for a long time. They will be honored in a tribute and will have former head coach Lloyd Carr present as well as some players from that team.
Michael Phelps is also going to have a part in the festivities. The Michigan alum is going to serve as an honorary captain.
The pregame flyover has been revealed as well. It will involve some Air Force F-16s from the 112th Fighter Squadron of the 180th Fighter Wing and should be great to watch.
It looks like Michigan is planning on going all out for the top 10 matchup with Penn State. Saturday’s game kicks off at noon ET on FOX.
