Michigan All-B1G DB Dax Hill makes decision on 2022 season
One of the top safeties in the nation is starting his preparation for the upcoming 2022 NFL Draft. On Thursday, Michigan safety Daxton Hill announced on his Instagram that would skip his senior season to declare for the 2022 NFL Draft.

Hill is a three-year starter for Michigan after being recruited as a five-star recruit in the 2019 national signing class.
In three years at Michigan, Hill has accumulated 149 total tackles, 96 solo tackles, 7.5 tackles for loss, four interceptions, 15 pass breakups, and three fumble recoveries. This past season, Hill accounted for 69 total tackles, 42 solo tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, two interceptions, eight pass breakups, and one fumble recovery.
Hill was a first-team All-B1G selection this season.
Hill has been rated as the second-best safety in the 2022 NFL Draft class, according to ESPN’s NFL Draft analyst Mel Kiper Jr. Pro Football Focus’ Anthony Treash has Hill being selected with the 28th overall pick to the Baltimore Ravens.
