Michigan is one of 3 schools to be named a finalist for 3-star defensive lineman Deyvid Palepale. He cut his offer list to 3 on Monday.

Palepale has some impressive finalists on his list, too. Alongside Michigan, Penn State and USC are potential landing spots. Palepale is a cousin of NFL star Penei Sewell, who played at Oregon before being drafted by the Lions.

Despite not being highly-rated, Palepale holds offers from some impressive programs. Georgia, South Carolina, Ohio State, Tennessee, Auburn and Washington are just a few teams that have officially offered Palepale.

Michigan is considered to be the team to beat for Palepale’s services, too. he holds a couple crystal balls from 247Sports predicting his commitment soon.

Palepale is considered to be the No. 756 overall prosect in the Class of 2024, as well as the No. 78 DL and the No. 23 prospect out of Pennsylvania.
