Michigan announces recruiting changes due to coronavirus
Sleepovers involving Jim Harbaugh and recruits won’t be happening for at least the next month. The Wolverines announced Wednesday that coaches won’t be allowed to conduct off-campus activities or host potential prospects on any visits between now and April 21 due to concerns over the spreading of Coronavirus.
The virus outbreak is starting to have a major impact on college athletics. March Madness officially won’t have fans in the stands, and the Ivy League even shut down all spring sports practices and games. Cincinnati has also canceled its spring football game.
We obviously haven’t heard the end of the virus’ impact on college athletics either, as it will have a rippling effect around the county. Junior Days have already been hosted by a number of programs.
Michigan says it will not be allowing coaches to conduct off-campus recruiting activities or host recruits on official or unofficial campus visits between now and April 21
