Michigan on the move in latest Associated Press poll
The Wolverines are back in the top 15.
Michigan earned the No. 15 spot in the latest Associated Press poll following a blowout win against Rutgers. The Wolverines earned their second straight win and their first double-digit victory in nearly a month.
They were one of six B1G teams to make the AP poll, which was the most of any conference.
Ohio State fell to No. 2 after beating Minnesota 28-14. No. 8 Iowa leapfrogged Michigan State, which suffered its first loss of the year at Nebraska and fell to No. 14. Northwestern and Wisconsin also earned spots back in the top 25 for the first time since they both lost to Iowa.
Michigan still has a chance to win the B1G East, but it would need to win out. That, of course, would end with a win against unbeaten Ohio State.
The Wolverines will look to fend off Indiana’s upset bid next week in Bloomington.
