“He should be a guy that’s talked about for the Doak Walker, for the Heisman,” Hart said. “We move as Blake moves, and he’s a special player. I just love that kid.”

Hart threw Corum’s name in the race for the Heisman and the Doak Walker award. Hart, who was a standout running back at Michigan from 2004 to 2007, spoke about the comparisons between Hart and Corum:

“The kid is special. He acts like me. He is me,” Hart said. “He just eats better than I do.”

In 2022, Corum has rushed for 611 yards and 10 touchdowns in 5 games. He helped strengthen the running game for the last few seasons. Michigan is on a roll and Corum’s success has been a factor in the team’s hot start.

Michigan will take on Indiana in a road game on Saturday.
