Michigan basketball picked up a commitment from 4-star guard Durral Brooks on Sunday afternoon.

Brooks is a borderline top-100 prospect nationally in the class of 2024. He hails from Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Here’s his announcement:

Brooks is currently ranked as the No. 101 overall player and the No. 13 point guard in the country for the class of 2024, per 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also the No. 1 player from the state of Michigan.

He attends Catholic Central High School in Grand Rapids. He’s listed at 6-foot-2, 180 pounds.

Brooks chose Michigan over offers from programs like Michigan State and Butler, amongst others.

He’s the 2nd 2024 prospect to commit to Michigan so far this cycle. The other is 4-star guard Christian Anderson, who has been committed to the Wolverines since October of 2021.
