Money talks.

Especially $5 billion. That really talks.

On Thursday, it was reported that the University of Michigan — thanks to a fundraising campaign named, “Victors for Michigan” helped the university raise more than $5 billion since the campaign was launched publicly in 2013.

More than $1.1 billion of the money raised will be dedicated to student support, while more than $1.4 billion will be used at the school’s academic medical center. More than 382,000 donors have given money to the university.

Reportedly, more than 1,600 volunteers help and spend their time for the university, which has also helped raise money. The initial goal for the Victors of Michigan was set at $4 billion, and that was passed in April 2017.
