Michigan’s 2018 season was an intriguing one, but at the end of the day, people will point toward two bad losses at the end of the season.
The Wolverines were highly ranked throughout the year, but again, is 10-3 really good enough? Will Jim Harbaugh eventually leave Michigan to go back to the NFL? Is Harvaugh even doing a good enough job in Ann Arbor?
There are plenty of questions going forward, however, the secondary in 2019 shouldn’t be one of them. Both DBs LaVert Hill and Josh Metellus announced that they would be returning for their senior seasons on Sunday:

This is certainly good news for Michigan fans. Both Hill and Metellus played outstanding in 2018. The awards show it.
Hill was a unanimous first-team all-Big Ten selection, while Metellus was a second-team all-Big Ten selection. Hill, a CB, and Metellus, a safety, were rumored to potentially go in the 2019 NFL Draft and be selected.
Now, 2019 will serve as a year for the duo to improve their draft stock. And more importantly for fans, win more games at Michigan.
