Michigan DL Rashan Gary is an elite NFL prospect.

There’s no questioning that. Some people believe Gary will go in the top 5 of the 2019 draft. He’s that talented.

Gary has also missed the last 3 Wolverines games, though, due to injury. Could he be holding out for the NFL?

Reports are that he’s trying his hardest to rehab and return for Michigan. On Wednesday, Wolverines defensive coordinator Don Brown thinks the stud DL is extremely close to returning to the field:

“We’ll see. I’m feeling good about him,” he said. “We’ll see where he’s at. I’m not the doctor, just a guy coaching. We’ll see though. I’m thinking very, very close.”

Getting Gary back this week would be huge. The No. 5 Wolverines are hosting No. 14 Penn State at 3:45 p.m. on Saturday. The game will be televised on ESPN.

If Gary’s playing, the entire country will get to watch one of — if not the best — defensive lineman in college football try to assert his dominance once again.
