Michigan DE Aidan Hutchinson doesn't hold back when asked about opting out of bowl games
Michigan defensive end Aidan Hutchinson never thought about opting out of the Orange Bowl.
A lot of the top players in college football have opted out of bowl games due to preserving their bodies for the NFL Draft, but not Hutchinson.
He’s all in to win a National Championship at Michigan as it’s all set to square off against Georgia on Friday.
Hutchinson spoke to the media on Wednesday and confirmed that even if the Wolverines hadn’t been in the CFP, he still wouldn’t have skipped the team’s bowl game.
“We wouldn’t leave our team out to dry ever,” Hutchinson said.
Aidan Hutchinson said he doesn't think skipping a bowl game, even if not in the CFP, would "not have been an option" for him or Josh Ross.
"We wouldn't leave our team out to dry ever."

Hutchinson comes into this contest as a consensus top 3 or top 5 pick in next year’s NFL Draft. He’s been the Wolverines’ best player on defense this season and currently has 58 total tackles (33 solo) along with 14 sacks, 2 forced fumbles, and 1 fumble recovery.
Kickoff for Michigan-Georgia on Friday will be at 7:30 p.m. ET.
