The injury bug is starting to hit Michigan in a big way.
That started before kickoff against Indiana with news coming out that the Wolverines were missing two key offensive linemen. That appeared to impact the team after a quick three-and-out to start the game.
On Indiana’s ensuing possession, the Michigan defense had a key player banged up. That came when Aidan Hutchinson was dinged and stayed down after a play.
Fortunately, Hutchinson was able to leave the field under his own power, but he has since left for the locker room to get further checked out. Angelique Chengelis with the Detroit News reported the update:
Hutchinson, right cleat off, walking with a bit of a limp to the locker room

Hopefully he is okay and able to return. In the meantime, it will be interesting to see if the Wolverines can score while also keeping the Hoosiers at bay during Hutchinson’s absence.
