When Michigan DL Mike Morris signed a NIL deal with the locally-based Mike Morse Law Firm, it made a great deal of sense given that the 2 men have similar names. And it’s due to this that the law firm put out commercials pointing out exactly that.

As it turns out, Morse…er, Morris has had a little practice as an actor before suiting up for the Wolverines.

“In high school, I was a thespian,” he said on Wednesday, ahead of Michigan’s contest against TCU in the College Football Playoff semifinal at the Fiesta Bowl. “Me [and] all my really close friends back home (in Florida), we were in the theatre department…I really enjoy acting.”

As for what roles he’d like to play in the future?

“I don’t know, man, I don’t know,” he replied. “I want to write. I want to be in stuff. I really don’t know. I can see myself in some, like romantic comedies, maybe a superhero one day, that would be cool…I’m real flexible, so I really don’t care.”

Could we be seeing Mike Morris on a big screen (or with a bigger role on the small screen) following his playing days? Stay tuned.
