Michigan drops hype video ahead of rivalry showdown vs. MSU
Michigan is looking to retain the Paul Bunyan Trophy after getting him back in 2022. The Wolverines slowly pulled away from Michigan State in Ann Arbor a season ago and head into Spartan Stadium Saturday night.
There has been a bit more chatter this week following Thursday’s reports of an NCAA investigation surrounding the Michigan program. That investigation includes allegations of sign-stealing and in-person scouting from Jim Harbaugh’s group.
Now, the attention can go back to the football field with all eyes on the teams once things get kicked off. Before we get there, the Wolverines dropped a brilliant hype video Saturday evening.
It features scenes from across the state and highlights from some of the historic meetings between the two bitter rivals. Needless to say, this one should be another good one with Paul back up for grabs.
It’s about more than just a football game.
It’s about history, tradition, and the passion of a population.
It’s about us. #GoBlue pic.twitter.com/AM39RdoskA

The two sides have met 115 times since 1898. Michigan still dominates the all-time series 72-38-5 but MSU has 3 victories in the series since 2017.
Saturday’s kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET on NBC.
