Michigan is officially a streak snapper.

Wednesday night, the Wolverines traveled on the road to Piscataway to take on Rutgers, which entered the game 17-0 on its home court this season. But the Wolverines changed that, handing the Scarlet Knights their first loss at The RAC on the year.

Zavier Simpson scored 16 points, grabbed six rebounds and dished five assists, leading the way for Michigan in a 60-52 victory over Rutgers. Franz Wagner added 12 points and eight rebounds, while David DeJulius added 10 points off the bench.

Michigan improved to 17-9 on the season and has now won four-straight games. The Wolverines swept the season series against the Scarlet Knights, winning the first meeting at Madison Square Garden 69-63.

With Rutgers losing at home, there is just one team that is perfect on its home floor: Maryland. The Terrapins are 15-0 in College Park this season, and it’s a big reason why they sit atop the B1G standings, owning a two-game lead over Penn State.

Rutgers has dropped two of its last three games.
