Michigan Gymnastics star Reyna Guggino tries hand at basketball in promotional video
Basketball is a tough sport and going up against a 7-foot-1 player does not make it even easier.
Well, Michigan gymnast Reyna Guggino, experienced it firsthand while swapping sports with UM basketball star Hunter Dickinson in a video posted to Michigan Women’s Gymnastics social accounts on Thursday morning.
After some coaching from @H_Dickinson24, we think @reyna_guggino is ready for her tryout!

The video starts out with Guggino going out on the court in an oversized Wolverine jersey. Guggino had some solid dribbling on the floor, but it was no match for Dickinson to block.
In one instance, Guggino tried to shoot from downtown but it ended up being an opportunity for Dickinson to take it in and dunk it. Dickinson taught Guggino the fundamentals of the ultimate basketball form to the net, and his teaching paid off.
She made a basket and couldn’t help by saying “put me on the team, Juwan!”
But it’s always good to have fun despite the score.
