Michigan holds moment of silence, plays Michigan State alma mater before game
It’s an emotional night at the Crisler Center. Michigan State has returned to the basketball court after the tragic shooting on the MSU campus.
Michigan and Michigan State are long-time rivals, especially in basketball, but U-M made sure to honor the “Spartan strong” spirit in multiple shows of solidarity.
Before tipoff, the Crisler Center was lit MSU green as there was a moment of silence for the shooting victims. Michigan’s pep band then played the MSU alma mater.
