Michigan secured a huge win over Ohio State in The Game Saturday.

That win pushed the Wolverines to the B1G Championship Game and onto the brink of the College Football Playoff. It also has provided dividends on the recruiting trail.

On Monday, Michigan picked up a commitment from Jason Hewlett, a 3-star ATH via the 2023 recruiting class. Hewlett is listed at 6-foot-4 and 220 lbs. and has drawn Power 5 interest from around the country.

According to the 247 Sports Composite Rankings, Hewlett is a 3-star ATH out of Chaney High School in Youngstown, Ohio. He rates as the No. 52 ATH in the country and the No. 21 player out of Ohio for the class of 2023.

Since beating Ohio State, Michigan has interestingly landed some nice commitments out of the Buckeye state. In addition to Hewlett, the Wolverines also landed a 2024 commitment from 4-star OT Luke Hamilton out of Ohio.
