Michigan lands commitment from 4-star TE out of Massachusetts for 2023
One of the top 2023 tight end prospects is on his way to Ann Arbor, committing to Michigan Sunday afternoon.
The player is Andrew Rappleyea, a 4-star TE out of Milton, Massachusetts. He committed to the Wolverines over offers from Michigan State, Ohio State, Penn State, Illinois, and a number of other Power 5 programs.
“The recruiting process has been life-changing,” wrote Rappleyea in a note on Twitter. “I’ve met a lot of great coaches and made many great relationships but one school has separated from the rest…I’ve found my home and I’m excited to announce that I’ve committed to the University of Michigan.”

According to the industry-generated composite rankings, Rappleyea is the No. 20 TE nationally and No. 332 overall prospect for the class of 2023. He is listed at 6-foot-4 and 215 lbs.
He should be a nice addition to Michigan’s recruiting class as the Wolverines look to compile their next group of recruits.
