Michigan just made a massive addition in the class of 2025.

On Monday evening, the Wolverines landed a commitment from 5-star offensive lineman Andre Babalola. He chose the Wolverines over offers from several other elite programs, including Oklahoma, Alabama, Tennessee, Colorado and many more.

Babalola is a massive addition for Michigan in this upcoming recruiting cycle. He’s the No. 21 overall player and the No. 4 offensive tackle in the country for this class, per 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also the No. 1 player from the state of Kansas.

He attends Blue Valley Northwest High School in Overland Park, Kansas, which is located outside of Kansas City. He’s listed at 6-foot-6, 280 pounds.

Babalola is the first 5-star prospect to commit to Michigan in the class of 2025. He’ll have a chance to be the first 5-star prospect signed by first-year Michigan head coach Sherrone Moore since he took over for Jim Harbaugh earlier this past offseason.

Overall, Moore has built up a solid first recruiting class at Michigan. The group currently ranks 15th nationally, but there’s room for improvement in that regard as the Wolverines only have 17 commitments as of Monday evening. It’s possible Michigan will make more additions before the end of this cycle.

Here are some highlights from Babalola’s high school career:
