Michigan has received a sixth commitment to its 2021 class in the month of April.

Friday, the Wolverines received a verbal pledge from three-star cornerback Ja’Den McBurrows out of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. It was a huge pick-up for Jim Harbaugh and company, as McBurrows held offers from 26 other schools, including several other major blueblood programs.

“After many conversations with God and my family I am 1000% percent committed to the University of Michigan,” McBurrows wrote on Twitter.

McBurrows becomes the 10th player in the 2021 recruiting cycle to commit to Michigan. He’s also the sixth player this month to confirm his pledge, making this a busy April for Harbaugh and his staff.

Per 247Sports, McBurrows ranks as one of the top 600 prospects in the 2021 class, coming in at No. 580. The 5-foot-10, 165-pound defensive back ranks as one of the top 50 players at his position and is listed inside the top 100 from Florida.

Along with Michigan, McBurrows held offers from Alabama, Georgia, LSU, Miami, Ohio State, Penn State, Tennessee and Utah, among others. With his commitment, the Wolverines now climb into the No. 10 spot in the recruiting rankings nationally.
