Michigan is continuing to make major progress on the recruiting trail in the state of Ohio.

The Wolverines earned a commitment from 3-star offensive lineman Ben Roebuck on Wednesday night. He told On3’s Hayes Fawcett that he grew up an Ohio State fan:

Roebuck has offers from programs like Penn State, Wisconsin, Michigan State, Nebraska, Tennessee and Ole Miss, amongst other top teams.

He’s listed at 6-foot-7, 320 pounds. Roebuck attends St. Edward High School in Lakewood, Ohio.

This is Michigan’s 2nd commitment from the state of Ohio this week. On Tuesday, the Wolverines landed a commitment from 4-star running back Jordan Marshall.

Roebuck is a major addition for Michigan’s class overall. He currently ranks as the No. 31 offensive tackle in the country for the class of 2024, per 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also the No. 15 player from the state of Ohio.

Michigan is up to 9 commitments in the class of 2024. Overall, the group ranks No. 5 nationally, per 247Sports Composite rankings. Michigan has 4 commits from the state of Ohio so far in this cycle.
