Michigan is working on putting together the 2024 recruiting class, and Jim Harbaugh’s staff picked up another key defensive piece Friday evening.

The player is Cole Sullivan, a linebacker out of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania that selected the Wolverines from a final list that included Wisconsin, Stanford, Notre Dame and Duke. Sullivan is the third LB to commit to Michigan in the current cycle.

Listed at 6-foot-3 and 200 pounds out of Central Catholic High School in Pittsburgh, the 247 SPorts Composite rates Sullivan as a 3-star recruit and the 16th player out of Pennsylvania. He’s also the 56th LB nationally for the class of 2024.

Michigan’s recruiting class is already ranked No. 1 nationally for the cycle per the 247 Sports Composite and will only get stronger with the addition of Sullivan. He joins fellow linebackers Mason Curtis out of Tennessee and Zach Ludwig out of Pennsylvania to commit to the Wolverines this cycle.
