Michigan lands commitment from Georgia defensive back
Michigan has reached into the Peach State for the program’s latest commitment as D.J. Turner of Suwannee has announced his public pledge to join Jim Harbaugh’s Wolverine program.
The 5-foot-11, 170-pound Turner is rated as a three-star prospect by 247Sports Composite Rankings. He committed to Michigan over scholarship offers from Alabama, Auburn, Clemson Florida, Florida State, Georgia and Notre Dame among several others.
Turner visited Ann Arbor for an official visit over the weekend. Prior to his trip to Michigan, Turner visited Florida and Notre Dame.
He made his commitment official with the following announcement on Twitter:
