Michigan fans have one extra reason to be thankful this season with the commitment of a hometown prospect.

During Thanksgiving evening, Adam Samaha committed to the Wolverines. Samaha is a kicker for the 2023 recruiting class and plays for Huron High School in Ann Arbor, per his 247 Sports player page.

“I am grateful to my parents, coaches, and teammates for their guidance, and my family and friends for their support during this process,” wrote Samaha. “I am excited to announce my commitment to the University of Michigan!”

He is Michigan’s first commitment for the class of 2023.

It will be interesting to see how Michigan’s class for 2023 looks down the road. The Wolverines currently hold the No. 17 recruiting class nationally for the class of 2022.
