One of the best offensive linemen in the 2019 recruiting class has committed to Michigan.

Trevor Keegan (Crystal Lake South HS / Crystal Lake, IL) announced the decision to pledge UM over Georgia and fellow Big Ten member Penn State in front of a crowd at his high school on Friday evening.

Keegan (6-foot-6, 310 pounds) is ranked as a four-star prospect, the No. 163 overall recruit in the nation and the No. 1 prospect in Illinois, according to 247Sports. He’s a top-20 player at his position. He’s been a top priority for Michigan’s staff for nearly two years, earning an offer from the Wolverines after attending the team’s Big Man Camp in the summer of 2017.

Keegan joins Nolan Rumler, Trente Jones, Karsen Barnhart, Zach Carpenter and Jack Stewart as the sixth member of the offensive line in this ’19 class; the Wolverines now have 24 commitments and rank 8th in the country (1st in the B1G).
