Michigan has added an in-state running back to its 2023 recruiting class.

Cole Cabana, a native of Dexter, Michigan, committed to the Wolverines on Saturday. The 3-star ball carrier made the decision with a live announcement that was covered by MLive.com.

Cabana’s decision comes just days after the 2022 recruiting class was finalized on National Signing Day. Now, Jim Harbaugh and the Wolverines have turned their attention to the 2023 cycle.

Per 247Sports, Cabana has received 20 offers during the recruiting process. He commits to Michigan over offers from Michigan State, Boston College, Purdue, Pitt, Louisville and many others.

Listed at 6-foot, 180 pounds, Cabana ranks as the No. 22 running back of the 2023 cycle. He is listed just out the Top 350 nationally. He becomes the fifth player to commit to the Wolverines in the class.
