Michigan is already putting in the work for the 2024 recruiting class, and one of the top linebacker prospects in the country is keeping the Wolverines in the mix.

Wednesday evening, Louisiana prospect Kolaj Cobbins dropped his top-6 list with Jim Harbaugh’s Michigan program included. The rest of the list for the linebacker included LSU, Ole Miss, Texas, Oregon and Colorado.

Listed at 6-foot-3 and 200 pounds, the 247 Sports Composite Rankings rate Cobbins as a 4-star LB and the No. 5 player out of Louisiana for the class of 2024. Cobbins also checks in as the No. 19 LB in the country for the cycle.

The Wolverines have already added 5 commitments for the class of 2024, a group that ranks No. 9 on the team recruiting rankings in the early going. 3-star defensive lineman Ted Hammond out of Ohio is the most recent addition with a commitment to Michigan on Wednesday.
