Listed at 6-foot-3 and 200 pounds, the 247 Sports Composite Rankings rate Cobbins as a 4-star LB and the No. 5 player out of Louisiana for the class of 2024. Cobbins also checks in as the No. 19 LB in the country for the cycle.
The Wolverines have already added 5 commitments for the class of 2024, a group that ranks No. 9 on the team recruiting rankings in the early going. 3-star defensive lineman Ted Hammond out of Ohio is the most recent addition with a commitment to Michigan on Wednesday.
