The Wolverines have landed a big-time defensive lineman recruit.

Kenneth Grant out of Indiana has officially committed to Michigan. He announced his decision via Twitter on Tuesday afternoon.

Grant is ranked as the No. 12 player in Indiana for the 2022 recruiting class and the No. 76 defensive lineman in the country per his 247Sports Composite ranking. He’s also the No. 511 overall recruit in the U.S., but don’t let that fool you.

Grant had offers from many top schools around the country, including some from the B1G. Ohio State, Wisconsin, Illinois, Nebraska, Purdue, and Indiana all had a strong interest in him, as did Cincinnati.

That said, over the last couple of weeks, all the crystal balls started coming in for Grant to commit to Michigan. Once that happened, it was just a matter of time before he was going to make the official announcement.

With this commitment, the Wolverines now have the No. 15 recruiting class in the country for 2022 and the No. 3 class in the B1G.
