Jim Harbaugh has added some tropical flavor to Michigan’s 2020 recruiting class.

On Tuesday, the Wolverines received a verbal commitment from an extremely talented four-star side receiver, Roman Wilson. He is the 21st player to pledge to Michigan this cycle and is the fourth receiver in the group.

Wilson, a native of Honolulu Hawai’i, made his announcement via Twitter. He shared a video to make his decision public.

According to Nick Baumgardner of the Detroit Free Press, Wilson is one of the fastest players of the 2020 class. he posted a verified 4.37 time in the 40-yard dash last summer. He also has tremendous hands and is incredibly elusive.

Wilson is ranked as one of the top 60 receivers in the 2020 class, coming in at No. 59. He’s also the No. 3 player out of Hawai’i and ranks No. 318 overall. He chose Michigan over several West Coast offers, including Arizona State, Oregon, UCLA and Cal.

The addition of Wilson is the second major addition at wide receiver for Michigan in the last week. The Wolverines also received a commitment from A.J. Henning a week ago. He is one of the top 100 players in the class.

With Wilson’s commitment, Michigan has climbed up to No. 6 in the national recruiting rankings and is No. 2 in the B1G.
