Muhammad is the second tight end of Michigan’s 2018 class. The 6-foot-4, 235-pound tight end is ranked No. 109 nationally, according to 247 Sports. He’s also ranked as the fifth-best player at his position and 14th from Texas.

Muhammad had 35 total offers, including eight from the B1G. He chose Jim Harbaugh and the Wolverines over Nebraska, Ohio State, Penn State and Wisconsin, among other conference teams. Alabama, Clemson, UCLA, and Texas were also in the mix.

Harbaugh has Michigan’s 2018 recruiting class currently ranked No. 13 nationally and third in the B1G. Nine of the Wolverines’ 15 commitments are rated as four-star recruits.
