Michigan linebacker Devin Gil announced that he has entered the NCAA Transfer Portal and that he will be transferring from Michigan.

Gil has played in 40 career games with the Wolverines, making 47 tackles, including four tackles for loss. The senior took a backseat on defense in 2019 after playing a big role for the Wolverines defense in 2018.

The Hollywood, Florida, native was rated a 3-star prospect and was ranked as the nation’s No. 65 overall safety and the state of Florida’s No. 144 overall prospect in the class of 2016, according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.
