Michigan leads Indiana at half after strong start
Michigan is leading 41-28 after a great first half against Indiana in the 2nd round of the B1G tournament. The last meeting between these 2 teams in the regular season ended in a 80-62 win for the Wolverines in January.
Hunter Dickinson and Devante’ Jones have led the way for Michigan so far. Dickinson finished the 1st half with 13 points, 3 rebounds, and 1 assist. Jones also had a great showing with 12 points, 4 rebounds, and 1 assist.
As a whole, the Wolverines are shooting 47% from the floor so far. The Michigan defense has also done a good job so far creating turnovers with 7 against the Hoosiers.
Indiana lead for the first few minutes of the game, but since then it has been all Michigan in Juwan Howard’s return to coaching following his 5-game suspension. Howard was originally suspended after an altercation with one of Wisconsin’s assistant coaches following the 77-63 loss to the Badgers.
