Michigan loses starting LT to injury against Wisconsin
No. 4 Michigan is leading No. 8 Wisconsin 7-0 in the second quarter, but the Wolverines may have just lost one of its impact players who probably doesn’t get the recognition he deserves.
Grant Newsome, the team’s starting left tackle, went down with an injury and waved off the cart to take him to the locker room. The entire team surrounded Newsome, and he eventually walked off and headed straight for the locker room.
The 6-foot-7 lineman received not just a lot of wishful thoughts from his teammates on the field, but on Twitter as well.
