Michigan LT speaks on last season, goal for 2022
Michigan had a pretty good season last year, but fell short in the College Football Playoff. One Michigan LT is glad to have been a part of the 2021 campaign, but feels like this year’s team can accomplish much more per Angelique Chengelis of The Detroit News.
Ryan Hayes appeared in all 14 games for the Wolverines last season. While everything they won in 2021 is great, Hayes stated that their biggest motivators right now are Michigan State and Georgia. The Spartans and Bulldogs were the only teams to beat Michigan last season.
“Michigan State and Georgia are our biggest motivations right now,” said Hayes. “Those two games were not good for us (last season). We want those back. We won the Big Ten championship, we won Ohio State, but we want more than that right now.”

With Michigan returning a very good once again, the Wolverines have a chance. We’ll see if the 2022 season is anything like the 2021 season.
