Michigan makes the cut for highly-recruited WR in class of 2024
Michigan is in the mix to land 3-star receiver Jordan Shipp.
The North Carolina native revealed his top 8 programs on Tuesday morning. Michigan is still in consideration, as is Maryland from the Big Ten. He’s also still hearing from North Carolina, NC State, Kentucky, Virginia Tech, Georgia Tech and Cincinnati.

Shipp has an impressive offer list for a receiver who is still early in the 2024 recruiting cycle. It’s possible he moves up the recruiting rankings in the coming weeks and months.
He’s currently ranked as the No. 399 overall player and the No. 54 receiver in the country, per 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also the No. 10 player from the state of North Carolina.
Shipp attends Providence Day School in Charlotte. He’s listed at 6-foot-2, 195 pounds.
Michigan is off to a very strong start in the class of 2024. The Wolverines have commitments from 7 players already. The group ranks No. 5 nationally, per 247Sports Composite rankings.
