Michigan makes top 7 for 4-star 2024 WR from Charlotte

Micah Gilbert is starting to narrow the focus of his recruitment after picking up 21 scholarship offers. This weekend, the blue-chip wide receiver from Charlotte, North Carolina revealed his top 7 teams.
It’s an ACC-heavy list for Gilbert. Michigan is the only B1G team to make the cut. The Wolverines are competing with Duke, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Pitt, South Carolina and Virginia Tech for Gilbert’s commitment.

A Charlotte Christian standout, Gilbert is listed at 6-3, 203 pounds. On the 247Sports composite rankings, Gilbert is rated 4-stars, the No. 5 player in North Carolina, No. 37 wide receiver and No. 242 prospect overall nationally in the 2024 recruiting class.
Jim Harbaugh’s staff has been recruiting Gilbert for almost a year, extending a scholarship offer on May 4, 2022.
