Sophomore Hunter Dickinson and former 5-star recruit Caleb Houstan lead the way for Michigan to move past Indiana on Sunday night as the Wolverines won 80-62. Both of these underclassmen have been on fire in the last few games.

In Dickinson’s last 3 games, he has averaged 23.7 points, 6.7 rebounds,  and 4 assists per game as well as a 69% field goal percentage. The Michigan center finished the game with 25 points, 9 rebounds, and 4 assists.

Freshman forward Caleb Houstan has caught fire from 3 recently. In his last 2 games, Houstan went 3-4 from three-point range scoring 16 points against Maryland on Tuesday. On Sunday, he went 5-7 from deep with a career high 19 points against the Hoosiers.

This season may have gotten off to a rough start for the Wolverines, but the future is definitely looking bright for them. We’ll see if the momentum from the last game carries over to the next game for the Wolverines.

Michigan (9-7) and Northwestern (9-8) play on Jan. 26 at 6:30 ET in their next B1G contest.
