Michigan is 1 of 3 programs still being considered by 4-star linebacker Aaron Chiles.

Chiles announced his finalists on Tuesday afternoon. In addition to the Wolverines, he’s also weighing his options with Florida and Maryland.

Here’s his announcement:

Chiles is a Maryland native, so the Terps are a hometown option for him at the next level. He’s from Olney, Maryland, and is listed at 6-foot-3, 220 pounds.

He has emerged as a top target for Michigan in this cycle. He’s currently ranked as the No. 75 overall player and the No. 6 linebacker in the country, per 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also the No. 1 player from the state of Maryland.

Chiles is expected to take official visits to both Florida and Michigan later this month. The Wolverines have received multiple 247Sports crystal ball projections to land his commitment.

Michigan has recruited extremely well so far in 2024. The Wolverines have the nation’s No. 1-ranked class, per 247Sports Composite rankings. Michigan already has 16 commitments, including 2 from other linebackers.
