Michigan nets 2022 commitment from 4-star DB out of California
The good times keep rolling for Michigan.
On Friday, Michigan landed a 4-star defensive back from California for the Class of 2022. Safety Zeke Berry from Concord (Calif.) pledged his commitment to the Wolverines, announcing on Twitter.

Berry explains what drew him to commit to Michigan.
“I wanted to be developed by coaches that have experience putting players in the NFL and it’s also a top 10 academic school in the country,” Berry said to 247Sports.
The 6-foot, 195-pound Berry initially was planning to commit to Oregon before a heavy push by Michigan persuaded him to change his mind.
“It took some time because I was 100% going to Oregon but Courtney Morgan wouldn’t stop recruiting me,” Berry said. “He felt it was important for me to know how important it is becoming a Michigan man. It was just too far to really (be) an option without me seeing it.”
Berry is considered to be the No. 18 safety in the nation and the No. 19 player from California, according to the 247Sports Composite. He’s also rated as the 226th prospect overall.
