Erik Magnuson may be taking the term “hog molly” a little too seriously.

At a press conference on Monday, the Michigan offensive lineman gave the media some insight as to what he might be doing off the field throughout the season. What he told reporters was….interesting.

Magnuson said that he and teammate Kyle Kalis will be starting a new show called “Gone Piggin.'” Nobody is quite sure what the show will be about, including the director and star of the series.

“There will be a show,” he said. “Whether or not it’s going to be available for you is still to be determined. It’s going to be similar to Wayne’s World. It’s going to be called ‘Gone Piggin” It will be maybe available. It’s a show, maybe we’ll put it on YouTube, depending on how much criticism coach thinks we’ll get for it. We’ll see.”

The title of the show comes from a term the offensive linemen use frequently in Ann Arbor, trying to contain the defensive line. Magnuson said its something they strive to improve each and every week.

Mark Snyder from the Detroit Free Press had the story from the press conference.

This should be an interesting addition to a program that has gained national attention from the strange antics of head coach Jim Harbaugh, who appeared in a rap video earlier this summer.

It would only be too perfect if “Gone Piggin'” becomes a huge internet sensation and Michigan is paired with Arkansas in a postseason bowl game.

The phrase “Woo Pig Sooie,” may become an appropriate slogan in Ann Arbor before too long.
