As usual, Michigan and Ohio State will not be playing in prime time.

For the ninth straight year, the rivals will square off at noon ET. The early game time was announced on Monday morning for the Nov. 28 showdown, but that wasn’t much of a surprise.

The last time Michigan and Ohio State squared off at 3:30 p.m. ET was in 2006, when the two teams were No. 1 and No. 2, respectively. That was also the last time the two top teams in the country played in the regular-season finale.

With Michigan Stadium’s lights situation, or lack thereof, the noon kickoff will also likely prevent College GameDay from returning to Ann Arbor for the annual showdown.

The network has yet to be determined.
